HomeLifeProject – September

I’ll be totally honest and admit I’m feeling less than enamored with my photos this month and I’ve been sitting here this evening trying to work out why. Is it the lens I’m using? Is it that I’m distracted by a crawling baby? Was it the weather? My camera settings? I’m not sure.

I think we all have those moments when we feel in a creative slump and I’m feeling a little like that now. But away from that, this months photos still stand as a record of our evolving family life. On Friday night we had family to visit who left early on Saturday, this month Theo started wearing glasses and Alice is becoming an unstoppable bundle of curiosity who I spend much of the day reigning in.

I’ve stuck next month’s date in the diary already (1st & 2nd October) and I’m hoping for the time and the headspace to concentrate on challenging myself to produce more creative images next month…

Pamela | Life With Munchers - I love your pics lady….you’re being too harsh on yourself. Perhaps that camera club thing has knocked you…your photos are captivating, full of life and love. I was snapping pics yesterday, but it’s all family snaps as it was MM’s Christening….so I have nothing ???? xxReplyCancel

Dawn - I think Gin sums it up! It’s the change in the seasons. I love autumn but as the season changes I always feel a bit lost :-)ReplyCancel
