Home Life Project – October

Home Life Project – October

Whenever the HomeLife Project weekend comes round I take a look at the diary and think about which day I’m going to photograph. After seeing what our commitments for the weekend are, the next thing I think about is the weather and this weekend Saturday and Sunday couldn’t have been more different. It poured with rain for the bulk of the day on Saturday, but bright sunshine was forecast all day on Sunday. You can guess which day I chose!

We spent most of the day outside, starting the morning with a long dog walk, then filling the day with gardening, seed planting and playing on the swings. Autumn is my favourite time of year and these days of warmth and sunshine feel like such a treat. After my sense of disappointment with last month’s pictures I also feel like I’ve got my mojo back this weekend… could it be anything to do with the email I sent last night resigning from our local camera club?!

So… over to you, you lovely creative bunch. Did the sun shine for you this weekend? If reading this post has made you feel inspired to take part, feel free to shoot next weekend or whenever it suits you, the linky stays live for two weeks and you are welcome to join in when suits…
