Home Life Project – November

If it feels like a while since we last linked up for this project, it’s not just you! Because of the way the dates fell, it’s been five weeks between shoots this time and I definitely felt ready to get the camera out again this weekend. As ever I’m struck by the changes I see in such a short space of time. Theo is now wearing an eye patch for two hours a day and Alice is taking a few steps independently, though she is keen to hold a hand to steady her too, which is a view I captured in one of the photos.

I was asked today if I plan to continue this project next year and I absolutely do. I’m also considering how to involve video with it too (all suggestions welcome) hopefully in an easy way that doesn’t create too much extra work. I just know that personally I could do with a little prompt to video the simple stuff (particularly of the kids as they grow) every now and again.

PS – That enormous box in the penultimate photo? You can see it again in the background of the picture of Alice in the hall. It’s a giant illuminated elk for the garden…of course.
