Me & Mine – April

We’re a day late with Me & Mine for April because the end of the month crept up on me and then I was away from home for four days in London working at the Country Living Spring Fair. So we’ve got some bank holiday grey skies as the backdrop to our photo… but at least it wasn’t raining!

The dogs are not in this month’s photo which is largely because at this time of year they spend a lot of time running around in the crops and usually emerge soaking wet and covered in bits of foliage! This is Macy in the wheat field by us..

So this is how our April has shaped up for us…

Clare : I’ve finally worked out what I’m wearing to the wedding I’m going to next weekend (tricky when you are the one taking the pictures!) and I have just invested in a new camera for filming after about a year of deliberating and watching youtube reviews

Jim : Spent quite a bit of time this month working on his Easter DIY project which involved cutting back a big section of undergrowth in our garden and was followed by four days solo parenting

Alice : Would spend every hour of the day on her swing in the garden if she could, loves playing camps with Theo, but currently spends a little too much time screaming!

Theo : Is getting really into growing plants and has joined gardening club at school, has been enjoying watching Nature’s Weirdest Events with Chris Packham on iPlayer, is busy putting together a huge Lego set with Jim and is still eating Easter eggs!
