Home Life Project – January

The first Home Life Project of the year is brought to you in association with….. my sister’s spare DSLR!! Yes, 3 months on and my camera is still being repaired! Thank heavens my sister still hasn’t sold the D7000 she upgraded from, I have been a very grateful user of it!

After putting together the short video of my best photos from last year’s Home Life Project, I decided that the one thing I really needed to improve on this year was getting myself in the picture more often. I have so many lovely unscripted moments of the children with their Daddy and very few of me. Of course it’s a little bit of an uphill struggle as Jim is rather reluctant to be the one taking the photos, but a little bit of pleading really paid off for the first weekend of the year…. Lets hope we can continue it!

The photos I took were shot yesterday. We started as we so often do on a sunny Sunday morning with a walk at West Wittering and then spent the rest of the day at home. I’m sure like most people we are all enjoying being out in the fresh air again after so much miserable weather over the Christmas break.

If you have only just discovered the Home Life Project and would like to join in next month, it happens on the first full weekend of every month, so the next dates are 3rd & 4th February and you can read more about it here. (this page needs a small bit of updating, bear with me)
