Home Life Project – February

As many of you will recall, this weekend was to be the first weekend since October when I was to have my Nikon D600 to take photos for the Home Life Project. I was feeling quite upbeat and had planned to see if I could shoot some video alongside the photos… all went well until about 10am yesterday when my camera (back from repair two weeks ago) started playing up again.

Having a faulty camera is problematic in many ways, but one of the many knock on effects is that it completely pours cold water on any creative spark you might have had… and so my day went rapidly downhill and my poor husband had to put up with me getting grumpier and grumpier.

So I guess it is kind of appropriate that this month I begin with a photo of Alice looking rather cross as she struggles to carry six books downstairs for breakfast… toddler logic!

I’m off to the camera shop again tomorrow <sigh> who knows what the state of play will be next month…

If you have only just discovered the Home Life Project and would like to join in next month, it happens on the first full weekend of every month, so the next dates are 3rd & 4th March and you can read more about it here.
